Skiing means the world to me

Skiing means the world to me

Skiing means the world to me-Nothing in this world compares to the feeling
Of gliding through a Rocky Mountain snowy forest(favorite line)
Powder gliding under the skis, silently
And feeling like you're, for once, at peace.

chose this line because it just makes me feel free and reminds me about gliding through trees on my skis, this expresses my emotions like i'm calm and happy, this is one of my favorite things to do and it sums up my life and just makes me happy.

I chose these images because they give a calm feeling of like gliding down a mountain by yourself or at the top of a mountain looking over everything and shows what you can accomplish. The story behind this is that you can do whatever you want if you put your head to it.

The person i would speak these lines too is other people who like being outdoors not to people who sit in there house all day and play video games.

Jose Zavala by "Julian Edelman"

I choose this because this is true in many ways. Most people like to bring people down by telling them that they are not good enough. This tells a story a story that many people do not like to share. I choose this image because it had the quote and it has one of my favorite receivers . This tells a story because Julian Edelman has been underrated. These lines are for some people that get told that they are not good enough.

Kenzie Cuba "Chasing Sunsets" by Natalie Grace

Having depression and anxiety is like being thrown into a raging, surging ocean,

When you don't know how to swim.
Meanwhile, the whole world expects you to keep swimming forward,
To keep excelling and moving onward in this thing called life.

But you feel like you're dying.
You're gasping for air.
Every breath is a struggle.
Your feet can't touch the floor,
You feel all alone,
Waves crash over your head and pummel you with water.
You want to give up the fight to stay afloat.

Help comes in the form of pills.
They become your floatation device.
You're no longer relying on sheer willpower to stay alive.
Now at least you won't drown,
But you still don't know how to swim.

- I choose these lines in this poem because it really explains what its like to have depression and anxiety. I like how every word and stanza in the poem creates an image in the readers mind because then it can really explain how it feels to deal with the struggles of having a mental illness like depression and anxiety.
- If i were to read this poem to someone or a group of people i would probably read this to raise awarness and educated people about these kinds of mental illnesses, because some people just dont understand what its like to be going through each and every day having depression or anxiety or any other mental illness, and people think that teen depression isnt a big deal because if you think about it its sort of a stereotype that teens dont have anything to stress about or be sad about because we're just kids, but in reality we have alot to stress about, some of us stress about school, friends, relationships, family, sports, and some teens have jobs on top of all of the other things going on in there life.

se que no fui buena demostrando sentimientos,
pero siempre he sido rudo, frio, duro como el hielo,
me hindiste en el infierno y la verdad no me arrepiento ,
por que se bien que te ame hasta el ultimo momento.

I chose this picture because the lyrics talk about someone being cold hearted. The lyrics relate to this picture because this heart is frozen. Also, the heart is blue and blue simbolizes sadness.

I chose this passage because I'm not good at expressing my feelings. I like keeping everything to myself and messes me up in the inside.

Viajo en silencio y no expreso mis sentimientos
Pero tu bien sabes que te llevo aquĆ adentro

I chose this picture because it's showing that she's confused about her feelings. This girl is leaning against a wall and that's what most people do when they're sad. Shes just staring out the window, and is thinking very deep about something.

I chose this song because I can relate to this in several ways. There's times when I miss someone, but I decide to not tell them and hide it. Even though I really like this person, I get scared to tell them and it makes me confused too.

Lucky I feel to have him as My Brother,
Then nothing else I ever had to bother.

Why did you choose these lines, this passage or poem?

I choose these lines because it is exactly how i feel with me and my brother.

Shae Spades
“I crossed paths with a sparkly green space girl while skating in the stars,
She was sitting on a comet a few light years from Mars,
She stopped me mid roll then cracked open a black hole
Immediately invited me along for a life changing stroll."

I chose this poem because it reminds me of the feeling you get when you first meet someone and you right away click with them. I enjoy making new friends, and the rest of this poem tells me that you shouldn't judge someone by what they look like, and instead give them a chance. You might even find that the new person might understand you more than you understand yourself, and they might help you throughout your struggles. And aliens and space things are just super cool in general. I chose this picture because it's closest to what i'd imagine the alien girl to look like.  And i'd read this poem to young adults to give them the message of giving people a chance, because you never know how important they might end up being for you.
